Roman General´s Sword
Roman General´s Sword
For combined cutting prowess and stabbing power in close quarters combat, the Roman Gladius reigned supreme. Its simplicity and effectiveness insured its success as a mass produced sidearm of the powerful and dreaded Roman army.
This version has a longer blade for extra reach, and the higher status afforded Roman officers.
The hilt and scabbard are beautifully designed and suitable for higher status soldiers. Brass embellishments decorate the wood guard and pommel and a Caesar’s medallion is embedded in the plastic grip.
Wood core leather scabbard and belt are also enhanced with high status brass attachments, including a lion’s head applied to the central belt attachment harness.
